Overview
We understand every pet’s and owners needs alike, are individual and unique. That is why we here at Notion’s will tailor our services to each individual customer; wether you’re looking for someone to do home visits to check in on your pets while you are away, you’re looking for some-one to care for your pet’s on busy days or just looking to arrange a dog walk to keep your furry friend fit, healthy and stimulated! We are here to help.
We are based in Cardiff, Wales – we do not offer dog walking services outside of Cardiff.
We are insured with PetPlan Sanctuary for our services, and are IOA Certified in pet first aid and CPR.
DBS Checked.

Dog Walking (Cardiff area only)
we offer scheduled dog walking – ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on you and your dogs needs.
Dogs can be let off leads with owners written consent.

SMall Pet boarding
We can provide a holiday boarding for small pets.
Guinea-Pig boarding: £6 per night, addition £1 for each additional guinea-pig that can share the same hutch.
Rabbit Boarding: Requires up-to-date vaccinations. £7 per night or £8.50 for a bonded pair that can share the same hutch.
Small mammal (hamster/gerbil/mouse/rat): £2 per night. additional £0.50 charge for each additional animal of the same species within the cage. Must supply own cage.
Pet Sitting,Boarding & Home Visits
If you’re away over-night or for a 2 week holiday, we can provide boarding for all small pets and exotics as well as scheduled home visits for cats & dogs.
Please contact us via email with the length of your time away as well as your specific pet care requirements.
Pet must come with cage or bedding for overnight stays, as well as food and feeding instructions.

"I first approached Kate to walk my dog when I saw her advertisement on Instagram. My dog is a little Bichon-Frise called Scooby and is probably one of the naughtiest dogs i've ever come across! (think Marley & me..but worse!) At first, I was quite nervous to let someone else walk him, just because I know he can be a handful at times especially when he randomly decides he doesn't actually want to be walked! But I saw Kate on Instagram and came across her 'Notions Rescue' page and saw her love for animals and taking care of them which gave me confidence that Scooby and Kate would get along fine...And I was not wrong! She was so friendly and Scooby warmed up to her straight away and was so excited to get out of the house. I gave Kate a brief description of Scooby stating he can be stubborn and out of control at times, So when she came to collect him she even bought dog calming treats for after his walk and he LOVED them! I would definitely go with Kate again in the future, She is extremely trust worthy and I don't have any worries when Scooby is with her! She is always excited to see him and is very enthusiastic in what she does. Scooby is already looking forward to his next Adventure! Thankyou Kate!! 🙂"

Im always really scared leaving my dog Lucky with a person I have never met before. He always feels anxious when he meets a new person which is why I always feel anxious myslef leaving Lucky with a stranger. As soon as I met Kate I knew she’d be a right person to stay with my dog. She clearly has big love for animals and know how to take care of them. She explained to me how many different animals she owned since she was little which showed me that she knows what she’s doing. As soon as Lucky met her he was confused for the first few minutes (which is completely normal for him) but after that he felt really comfortable and happy since Kate showed friendliness and Love towards him. Throughout the 4 days that I was gone, she kept sending me pictures of Lucky few times a day, which made me really happy since I knew exactly what was happening with my pet and I could tell he was Happy and entertained throughout the day. I will definitely hire Kate again, I’m really happy someone so trustworthy finally is working around Cardiff.
